How do I participate in an auction?
Participating in a Biddees auction is fast, fun and easy – just follow these steps:
- Click on “Register Now” at the top of the page to create an account and fund it with some Little Biddee Things™ (LBTs). LBTs are credits you buy from us to to participate in an auction and buy prepaid cards.
- Find an auction in which you’d like to participate, then click “View Auction” and then click “View Price.”
- When the price is displayed, your account will be charged one (1) Little Biddee Thing™ (LBT). Remember, each time an LBT is used by you or another user to check the price of any card, the price of that card drops by $0.50.
- Decide whether you want to purchase the card at the displayed price. You’ll have 30 seconds to make your decision before your turn ends and the card becomes available to the next participant.
- If you want to buy the card at the current price, click “Buy Now” to checkout. If you don’t want to buy the card at the current price, click “No Thanks” to release the card to the next participant.
How do I know if the price of a card I’ve viewed has dropped?
You can track the status of auctions you’re participating in by visiting My Account or referring to the My Current Auctions area on the right side of every page. If you want to be notified automatically when the price of a card you’ve viewed has dropped, you can check the box that says “Keep me informed of updates for this item when I click on “NO THANKS”.” on the View Price screen.
When does an auction end? Is there a set end time?
There are no set end times for Biddees auctions. Each auction ends only when someone purchases the card at its current price or when the current price of the card reaches zero and the last person gets the card for free!
Can I cancel a bid once I’ve clicked the “View Price” button?
It depends. If you are the only person requesting to view the current price of a card at that time, the price will be immediately displayed and you will automatically be charged one LBT. The LBT used cannot be refunded because you have already viewed the price. However, if there happen to be other users ahead of you in line to view the current price, you may leave the auction before viewing the price and no LBT will be deducted from your account.
Can I participate in multiple auctions at the same time?
Yes, you can participate in multiple auctions at the same time by opening up separate tabs or windows in your browser. However, keep in mind that you only have 30 seconds to decide whether or not to purchase a card once the current price is displayed, so be sure that you don’t miss your purchase opportunity by having an auction page hidden or minimized.
I checked the price of a card and decided not to buy it. When I returned to view the price again, the price was higher – what happened?
In Biddees auctions, the price can only go down as the auction progresses. Therefore, each time anyone checks the price of a prepaid card, the current price will be less than the last price you viewed. If you are seeing a higher price, this means that the auction you were participating in has ended and a new auction for the same item has begun. You can view the auctions in which you’ve participated by checking the “My Auctions” area in your account. Your open auctions are also listed in the “My Auctions” area located on the right side of every page (when you’re logged in).
How can I find out when new gift card auctions are listed?
We are always expanding the number of gift cards available through Biddees auctions. If you want to be notified when we add auctions for new retailers and service providers, sign up for our email list. You’ll receive occasional emails from us about new cards added to the website, special promotions and more.
Little Biddee Things™ (LBTs) & NPO Donations
What is a Little Biddee Thing™ (LBT)?
A Little Biddee Thing™ (LBT) is similar to a bid, but instead of raising the price, it lowers the price. Unlike a bid in a traditional auction, where your bid can be for any price, an LBT has a set amount – it lowers the current price by $0.50 every time.
What is a FREE Little Biddee Thing™ (LBT)?
When you first register, you’ll receive three (3) FREE Little Biddee Things™ on us. These LBTs allow you to test-drive our website and see how it works, but they have limited capabilities. You’ll be able to view the price of gift cards with your free LBTs, but you won’t be able to purchase cards you view. If you want to purchase a prepaid card, you’ll need to buy some LBTs.
How do I buy Little Biddee Things™ (LBTs)?
You can purchase LBTs for $0.99 each in packages of 10 ($9.90), 25 ($24.75), or 50 ($49.50). There is no limit on the number of LBTs you can have in your account.
Why am I asked to select a nonprofit organization when I purchase LBTs?
In addition to saving you money, Biddees is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations achieve their worthy goals. We do this by donating 15% of your LBT purchases to the nonprofit of your choice. When you create an account, you’ll have the opportunity to select your default nonprofit organization. During the manual LBT refill process you can opt to donate your 15% to a different organization if you’d like. And if you’ve elected to use the auto-refill feature, you can set your preferred nonprofit for those LBT purchases by visiting My Account.
Do I have to select a nonprofit organization when I purchase LBTs?
No, you do not have to select a nonprofit organization to be associated with your account. In that case, 15% of your purchases will be donated to Special Olympics.
Do LBTs expire?
No, LBTs in your account never expire.
Can I get a refund on unused LBTs in my account?
Yes. Unused LBTs can be refunded by contacting us. Please note that LBTs will be refunded at their purchase price less the amount given to the nonprofit organization you selected during the purchase process. For example, if you purchased 10 LBTs at $0.99 each and 15% was given to a nonprofit, you will be refunded 10 LBTs at $0.84 each, or $8.40. LBTs that you receive for free through any type of special offer, giveaway, contest or promotion are not redeemable or refundable.
Can I transfer my unused LBTs to another Biddees member?
No, LBTs in your account cannot be transferred to another Biddees member. If you have accidentally created multiple accounts and wish to consolidate your LBT balances, please contact Customer Service at 1-888-399-2412.
I’ve bought a lot of LBTs, so I’ve donated a lot to my selected charity. Can I get a receipt for tax purposes?
Registered users whose donations to a single nonprofit organization total at least $250 in any given calendar year can request a receipt for tax purposes. Contact us for more information.
My Account
How do I create an account?
Click “Register Now” found at the top of any page. Enter your name and email address, then select a username and password. Click “Submit” to create your account. You’ll automatically be logged in and you can immediately begin participating in Biddees auctions.
What is the “My Designated Non-Profit”?
Each time you purchase LBTs, 15% of the purchase price is donated to the nonprofit organization of your choice. You can select an organization to receive these donations in the My Profile area of your account. You may also change the organization which receives these donations on a purchase-by-purchase basis during the manual LBT refill process.
What is the “Auto-Refill” option?
If you want to make sure that your account never runs out of LBTs, you have the option to automatically refill your LBT balance by turning on “Auto-Refill”. You can then select the amount of LBTs you want to purchase and the level at which you want that purchase to be made. To set up “Auto-Refill”, log in and visit the My Little Biddee Things™ area of your account.
I forgot my password – how do I reset it?
If you’ve forgotten your account password, simply click the “Forgot Password” link located in the upper right area of every page. We will send you an email with information on how to reset your password.

What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards from United States billing addresses. We’re sorry, but we are unable to accept credit cards from foreign banks or with international billing addresses at this time.
Do you charge sales tax on purchases of prepaid cards or Little Biddee Things™?
No, you will not be charged sales tax on your purchases of LBTs or prepaid cards. However, you will pay sales tax on any purchases you make with your prepaid card by the merchant when you redeem it.
How long does it take to receive the card I won?
Delivery time varies based on the shipping method you select during checkout. We offer both standard (FREE) and expedited shipping ($22.00) for your convenience. You can view our current shipping rates and their associated estimated delivery time on our Shipping & Returns page. Please note that it typically takes one business day to process your order before it is shipped.
How can I track the status of my prepaid card order?
When your prepaid card is shipped, we will send you an email with a tracking number for your shipment. You will be able to view the current status of your shipment, including an estimated arrival date, by entering the tracking number on the carrier’s website.
Can I send a card I’ve won to someone as a gift?
At this time we are only able to ship orders to the billing address associated with your payment method.
What should I do if the card I received is damaged and cannot be redeemed by the merchant?
We make every effort to ship your order in packaging that minimizes the possibility of damage. However, if a merchant is unable to redeem your prepaid card because of damage, please contact Biddees Customer Service at 1-888-399-2412. We guarantee your total satisfaction.
Can I return a prepaid card I purchased for a refund?
Prepaid cards may be returned up to 30 days after their purchase. If the card has not been used, you will be refunded the price you paid. If the card has been used, you will be refunded the price you paid less the amount you used. For example, if you purchased a $100 card for $80 and the balance on the card is $60 when we receive your return, you will be refunded $40 ($80 original price – $40 used = $40). Any refund will be credited to the payment method used for your purchase. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your credit card statement. Electronic gift cards may not be returned or refunded.

Are the prepaid cards you offer new or used?
Biddees only offers new prepaid cards.
Are there any special terms and conditions or fees for using American Express, MasterCard or Visa prepaid cards?
Full terms and conditions, including details on any applicable fees, will be included with your card shipment. However, here are some general tips for using these types of cash cards:
- Always select CREDIT when making purchases in stores using a cash card.
- When using your cash card at gas stations, always pay inside – your card may not work at the pump.
- Know your balance in advance of making a purchase. If you do not have enough money on your card to cover your complete purchase amount, you may need to use an additional form of payment to cover the remainder. Keep in mind that some stores are not able to accept multiple forms of payment for a single purchase.
