American Red Cross
Since its founding in 1881 by visionary leader Clara Barton, the American Red Cross has been the nation's premier emergency response organization. esteem, human development and community development. Additionally, they strive to develop
their services to do common tasks uncommonly well. DRE will use their skills and knowledge to
enhance the lives of those that are disadvantaged. Their goals focus heavily upon overcoming barriers that prevent children and adults from achieving excellence.
The Friendship Circle of South Bay
To bring happiness and companionship to children with special needs in a way that celebrates, rather than laments, their uniqueness and individuality; To impart renewed strength, comfort and peace of mind to the parents of these special children; To foster the values of altruism, volunteerism and sacifice amoung maturing teenagers; To heighten the community's awareness, sensitivity and sense of responsibility with regard to responding to these vital needs. Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus
JLIC places Orthodox Rabbinic couples to serve as Torah educators within the Hillels on college campuses. Now on fifteen campuses in North America, the JLIC educators strive to enhance the learning opportunities and to bolster an infrastructure for Orthodox life to flourish. The educators offer weekly Shiurim and classes, bring guest speakers and events to campus, and make key Orthodox necessities easier to observe and more meaningful. Moreover, JLIC families strive for a more individualized touch. Students grace their Shabbat tables as regular guests, interact with them in informal settings, such as the cafeteria, and learn with them B'Chavruta.
Junior Achievement of San Diego and Imperial County
Junior Achievement of San Diego and Imperial Counties has been educating K - 12 students about entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy since 1950. They use experiential, hands-on programs to help students understand and master the knowledge and skills they'll need as adults. They are passionate about ensuring that every child has access to the economic and financial knowledge they will need in the future. As part of JA Worldwide™ Junior Achievement brings to San Diego and Imperial Counties the power and resources of the world's largest organization dedicated to preparing our youth for life in a global economy. This year they will engage more than 40,000 students in Junior Achievement programs.

MADD
The mission of MADD is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking. MADD has more than 1,400 trained victim advocates across the country that serve those who have been tragically touched by drunk driving. From its humble beginnings 25 years ago, MADD has evolved into one of the most widely supported and well-liked non-profit organizations in America.
Make-A-Wish Foundation
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. A network of nearly 25,000 volunteers enable the Make-A-Wish Foundation to serve children with life-threatening medical conditions. Volunteers serve as wish granters, fundraisers, special events assistants and in numerous other capacities. Since its humble beginnings in 1980, the organization has blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon, reaching more than 174,000 children around the world.
Soldiers' Angels
"May No Soldier Go Unloved," encapsulates the motivation behind Soldiers' Angels. Founded by the mother of two American soldiers, Soldiers' Angels is an international, volunteer-led organization supporting America's men and women in uniform. With over 30 different teams and projects, their nearly 200,000 volunteers assist veterans, wounded and deployed personnel and their families in a variety of unique and effective ways.
Special Olympics
Since 1968, Special Olympics has been bringing one message to the world: people with intellectual disabilities can and will succeed if given the opportunity. Through year-round sports training and competition, Special Olympics empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities in more than 180 countries. Transforming the athlete, Special Olympics sports are a gateway to empowerment, competence, acceptance and joy.

Since its creation in 2002, the Global Fund has become the main source of finance for programs to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, with approved funding of US$ 15.6 billion for more than 572 programs in 140 countries. The Global Fund's partnership between governments, civil society, the private sector and affected communities represents a new approach to international health financing. The Global Fund works in close collaboration with other bilateral and multilateral organizations to supplement existing efforts dealing with the three diseases. It provides a quarter of all international financing for AIDS globally, two-thirds for tuberculosis and three quarters for malaria.
The Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy is the the leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. since their founding in 1951, they have protected more than 119 million acres of land and 5,000 miles of rivers worldwide — and they operate more than 100 marine conservation projects globally. The Nature Conservancy works in all 50 states and more than 30 countries — protecting habitats from grasslands to coral reefs, from Australia to Alaska to Zambia. They address threats to conservation involving climate change, fire, fresh water, forests, invasive species, and marine ecosystems.
